Milkomeda is a psychedelic metal band born in Paris, where heavy riffs blend with cosmic soundscapes. Their music fuses crushing guitars, hypnotic rhythms, and floating atmospheres, building a bridge between raw intensity and transcendental exploration. Inspired by the weight of doom and the vastness of space rock, their compositions feel like journeys across galaxies — at once heavy, ethereal, and cathartic, where distortion becomes meditation and noise turns into ritual.

Adil on vocals and guitar, Amaury on bass, Julien on drums, Benjamin on keys and vocals, and Salah on guitar form a collective brought together by a shared passion for heavy sounds and psychedelic atmospheres. Their name, Milkomeda, refers to the future fusion of the Milky Way and Andromeda, symbolizing their drive to create music that transcends earthly boundaries and explores the outer edges of the sonic universe.

I had the opportunity to work with them during their concert at the Antipode barge in Paris. From the very first note, the tone was set — you're pulled into their universe with no way to escape, much like a black hole. I did my best to capture this unique atmosphere through my photographs.
