I'm a photographer based in Paris. A musician before picking up the camera, I try to convey the intensity of the moment experienced by the musicians, and captivate viewers by bringing them as close as possible to the performance.
Also a modern explorer, I take my camera along on my excursions, in nature or just around the corner from my home, with a desire to represent the world as it unfolds before my eyes, always with a raw and unsparing approach.
My work and obsession with capturing the energy of a moment stem from my experience as a musician, the weight I place on playing alongside others, on engaging in musical dialogue, on exposing myself raw before an audience. I consider these moments the purest of my life, in their lowest depths as much as their highest peaks. It is with this in mind that I pick up the camera when I become a spectator: to seize that fragility, that purity.
